Hazards XXII - Ivan Vince's paper |

Ivan Vince, our Principal Consultant, presented a paper, Societal Risk Criteria in Land Use Planning – the Scale of ‘Scale Aversion’, at Hazards XXII, the latest IChemE Symposium on process safety and environmental protection, held in Liverpool, 11-14 April 2011.
We have long been interested in concepts underlying societal risk assessment, not least because ASK Consultants has worked on a number of high-profile land use planning projects in the vicinity of major hazard sites, on behalf of site operators, developers, and third parties.
