Flash gadgets for ASK subscribers

ASK will soon be uploading a mixture flash point calculator, freely available for all who register. You can register here and will also receive regular email newsletters from us.

The flash point of a liquid is the lowest temperature at which, using standard test apparatus, its vapour will be ignited by a flame. In general, mixtures are non-ideal with respect to flash point: that is, the flash point of a mixture cannot be calculated by simply interpolating between the flash points of the pure components.
